The second largest city of the state is Pittsburg. Thanks to the rapid development in the past few years, it is now a modern city living its heydays. It is the center of the Pennsylvanian industry; it’s famous for its steel production, and it is the seat of the well-known food processing concern, the Heinz. It is worth to visit the Carnegie Institute’s Museum of Art which has a beautiful artistic gallery; the Andy Warhol Museum, where we get to know the works of famous American artists. If you have a little time in extra, visit the Ohiopyle State Park and the Laurel Ridge State Park, or perhaps check out the home of the Amish Community, the beautiful Western Amish Country.

The largest city of the state, which is also the second largest on the Eastern coast, is Philadelphia. The history and the culture of the city are fascinating. They’d signed here the Declaration of Independence on 4th July, 1776. It was the capital of the USA for a very long time. Its population is over 7 million, including the suburbs. It is a busy harbor, and thousands of immigrants settled down in the city in the past centuries. It has a multicultural characteristic, not surprisingly because almost every nation represents itself in the city. Philadelphia is full of excellent museums, hotels, restaurants and other sights. It’s most famous building in the Independence Hall, which was built in 1748. This is the site where they’d signed the Declaration of Independence. The building is situated in the Independence National Historic Park, which is also the home of many preserved buildings of the 17th century. The oldest mint of the USA, US Mint is also to be found here, and it is still operating. The famous building of the Masonic Temple is also a beautiful sight. It’s worth to visit the well-known museums of the city: the Independence Seaport Museum, which introduces the nautical traditions of the USA; the Pennsylvania Academy Of  Fine Arts, which is a fascinating gallery; the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which has a fantastic artistic collection on display; the Barnes Foundation, which is the private collection of Albert Barnes, with masterpieces from Van Gogh, Renoir and Rousseau; and the Physicians of Philadelphia Mutter Museum, which talks about the evolution of medical science.
